Lately I've not done much sewing.
I think I've burned myself out.
Don't worry it won't last long.
I've found the quilt I want to do for my bed.
Now to find 116 different fabrics.
Other then that.
I have so many projects that need done.
Page's quilt quilted, Grandma's quilt quilted to name some.
A whole bunch more needing quilted.
But I did get this top sewn together.
I like it.
Trying to decide weather to add more stars or what.
I'm calling it Milky Way of Colors.
I've also done these wonky hearts for the Sew Bee Wonky Bee.
They were fun and I really liked how they turned out.
Oh and here's my little Melody.
This is the picture that I used for her newborn announcement.
She is such a sweetheart.

October Bee Blocks
My thankful thought of the day goes right along with the many blocks I did for the quilting bee's this month. I'm very thankful that my Auntie Renee teaches a sewing class at the high school and that I was able to take it. Quilting is a very important part of my life. Like I've said before quilting is a major stress reliever for me. I enjoy these bee's for they are just little enough projects, plus I get to try many differnt styles of blocks that I never thought I'd do, to do with two children. I'm thinking though that five bee's may have been a little to much, It squeezes out the time I have to do my own projects. But I really enjoy the groups and the ladies in them.
This month was mine in Sew Bee Wonky and because of a flaker, they had Oct and Nov to finish them. So far I've gotten two blocks back...and I LOVE THEM! Last month (Sept) was my month in Bee Quilted and in Newbee. I've gotten all my Bee Quilted blocks back, just need to get them sewn together and I'm still waiting on two Newbee blocks. Hopefully they show up soon, cause I want that quilt done by December time.
Anywho!
Here's the parade of Bee blocks I did this month.

August Bee Blocks
Well August is almost come to a close and school is starting tommorrow. I have no reason to dread or be excited about school starting for I'm done and I have no kids or husband in school. The only kinda sad part is that my mom is back to work. OH well, so goes life. Anyways, so here are my collaberation of blocks I did for the different quilting bees I'm in. So lets get the blocks a rollin!
First up are the blocks done for Valerie in NewBee. These are probably my favorite ones this month. I just LOVE the colors and the stars are so neat. If you want to know how to do these I have directions, let me know and I'll get them to you. Way fun and easy to do.

NewBee July Blocks
This is the first one I came up with and I totally messed up I Feel Terrible! Ok heres the story....
I recieved the fabric on a thursday, was so inspired I sewed this up on a sunday, was so proud of my accomplishment and how it turned out (my first house!) Well has I got on here to post my finished pic I re-read what she wanted and guess what.... The black was supposed to be the background like a spooky starry night, I was like well no duh! That makes sense. I feel horrible I read and read what she wanted and I never seen that part till just then, UGH!!!!
Well couple of weeks later I was looking through
a quilt block book when I found this block for a house, and I realized I can do that for her, she will just have to add the black on the top two strips thats all, four seams she'll have to sew.
This picture is with some black material behind it just to give an idea of what it will look like finished. All in all I think they turned out cute, even if the one was disastourous.
